The OIC Remembers the Victims of 9/11 on its 10th Anniversary

The OIC did not condemn the Accursed Abomination, it celebrated it,
smirking & snickering at your gullibility.  Read between the
lines and between the words, scratch the surface and delve into Islam’s
canon to discover the unpleasant objective factual reality.
The  OIC’s malignant pretense is reproduced below with

On
the 10th anniversary of 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Organization of the
Islamic Cooperation (OIC) joins the international community in
remembering the horrendous and cowardly act of terrorism
and the tragic
loss of thousands of innocent human lives. The OIC was among the first
in expressing shock and horror at the dastardly terrorist attack and in
condemning it in
the strongest terms1




The OIC seizes this
opportunity to reiterate its firm position of condemning terrorism
in
all its forms and manifestations and to underscore that terrorism is a
repugnant malady that seeks to destroy the fundamental ethos of
humanity. This principled position of the OIC against terrorism and
extremism is clearly stated in the OIC Ten Year Programme
of Action

adopted by the Heads of State and Government in 2005.2
The perpetrators of terror
have no respect
for human life or dignity3

and pursue an agenda of hate4
and destruction5.
They have no character, follow no faith
6
and live by a
dogma of violence
7. The OIC that is
guided by principles
of peace
and
tolerance
and moderation and modernization, is a major partner
of the
international, community in combating terrorism. In doing so, the OIC
Member States have themselves become the targets of terrorists and have
paid a heavy price in terms of human life and damage to property. The
OIC endeavors to combat
terrorism at its roots8
whatever its
possible
underpinnings, whether political, economic, social or technological.
This stand has been evidenced over the past decades through the
Organization’s endeavors to mobilize energies and efforts to fight
against terrorism. The OIC’s efforts were further strengthened with the
establishment of the Convention on Combating
Terrorism
in July 1999.
Perhaps, it is the only available Convention which defines terrorism9,
so far. 




In its firm belief that
combating terrorism requires a multi dimensional approach and not only
the use of military means to guarantee sustainable peace, the OIC
attaches enormous importance to identifying and addressing the root
causes of conflicts and disputes
10.
Dealing with
conflict through
the
comprehensive approach obviously carries huge potential benefits. 




In this regard, the OIC has
been vocal in calling for historical
reconciliation among
different
religions
, cultures, and civilizations
11, which would be seen as
catalyst
to debunk the myth of “clash of civilizations”12
elevated by the tragic
events of 9/11, which have, also, helped, unfortunately, the
Islamophobes to pursue with their discriminatory agenda towards Islam
and Muslims. It is worth mentioning that the OIC has always emphasized
that the international
community should act in the spirit of moderation
and dialogue to eliminate
all forms of hatred, intolerance and
discrimination
.13 The OIC
believes that the limits of
discrimination and
racism have already been defined by existing international human rights
instruments, including the consensually adopted HRC Resolution 16/18.
It is equally important to recall the need to observe the UNGA
Resolution 62/272
of September 5, 2008, which
negates the association
of Islam to terrorism
.14 The OIC,
in this regard, calls
for the
full
adherence
15
to these and other similar resolutions and
instruments. 




While commending the
initiatives of the international community on combating terrorism, the
OIC reiterates its readiness to cooperate with any
credible initiative in addressing the root causes and
consequences of
terrorism
with a view to having a safer world free from the evil
faces
of terrorism for our future generations.

 


  1. This is all I could find: “After
    the terrorist attacks on the 11th of September 2001, the OIC issued a
    statement condemning the « brutal and criminal » acts, stating that
    they are in contradiction wth the teachings of Islam. The
    statementunderlined the need to distinguish the terrorism practised by
    groups and individuals from the national resistance of peoples for
    liberation from occupation and colonialism.”  Strongest possible
    terms? “Allah” & “damn”  are missing. That condemnation falls
    far short. 

  2. VI.      Combating terrorism

     

    1.            Emphasize the
    condemnation of
    terrorism
    in all its forms, and reject any
    justification or rationalization
    for it, consider it as a global
    phenomenon that is not
    connected with any religion
    , race, color, or
    country, and distinguish
    it from the legitimate resistance to foreign
    occupation, which does not sanction the killing of innocent civilians
    .

     

    2.            Introduce
    comprehensive qualitative changes to national laws and legislations in
    order to criminalize all terrorist practices as well as all practices
    to support, finance, or instigate terrorism.

     

    3.            Affirm commitment to
    the OIC Convention on Combating Terrorism
    , participate
    actively in international counter-terrorism efforts, and endeavor to
    implement the recommendations of the International Conference on
    Combating Terrorism, held in Riyadh in February 2005, including the
    establishment of an International Center for Combating Terrorism, as
    well as the recommendations of the Special Meeting of OIC Foreign
    Ministers on Terrorism, held in Kuala Lumpur in April 2002.

     

    4.            Support
    efforts to develop an International Code of Conduct to Combat Terrorism
    and to convene an international conference or a special session of the
    UN General Assembly to reiterate the international consensus on
    establishing a comprehensive strategy to combat this dangerous
    phenomenon.

  4. 1:6. Guide us to the Straight Way

    1:7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned
    Your Anger
    (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray
    (such as the Christians).

    2:161. Verily, those who disbelieve, and die
    while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of Allâh and of
    the angels and of mankind,
    combined.

    2:162. They will abide therein
    (under the curse in Hell)
    , their punishment will neither be
    lightened, nor will they be reprieved.

    98:6.
    Verily, those who disbelieve
    (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad ()) from among the people of the
    Scripture
    (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They
    are the worst of creatures
    .

    [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet
    Muhammad  and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you
    enjoin Al-Ma’rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has
    ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that
    Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of
    the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better
    for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are
    Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh – and rebellious against Allâh’s
    Command).

    3:111. They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; and if
    they fight against you, they will show you their backs, and they will
    not be helped.

    3:112. Indignity is put over
    them
    wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of
    protection) from Allâh, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the
    Wrath of Allâh, and destruction
    is put over them.
    This is because they disbelieved in
    the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)
    of Allâh and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they
    disobeyed (Allâh) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allâh’s
    disobedience, crimes and sins).

    59:2. He it is Who drove out the disbelievers
    among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banî
    An-Nadîr) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think
    that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would
    defend them from Allâh! But Allâh’s (Torment) reached them from a place
    whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own
    dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then
    take admonition, O you with eyes
    (to see).

  6. What did they say when they slit the
    throats of the flight crews? “Allahhu Akbar”; “follow no faith”? What
    sort of Muslim follows no faith?

  7. Bukhari
    Ch 61 # 2756: …It is mentioned from Ibn ‘Umar from the Prophet, may
    Allah bless him and grant him peace, “My provision has been placed
    under the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humility have been
    placed on the one who disobeys my command.

    2:216. Jihâd
    (holy fighting in Allâh’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims)
    though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is
    good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh
    knows but you do not know.

    8:39. And fight
    them until
    there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism:
    i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for
    Allâh Alone
    [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease
    (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer
    of what they do.

    9:29. Fight
    against those who
    (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last
    Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His
    Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e.
    Islâm) among the people of the
    Scripture
    (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with
    willing submission, and feel themselves subdued
    .

  8. Terrorism is rooted in the Qur’an &
    sunnah.  To combat terrorism, it is necessary to abjure &
    curse the following ayat & ahadith without any hesitation, evasion
    or mental reservation whatsoever. No Muslim will abjure & curse
    these verses because by so doing, he would sign his own death warrant.
    I refer doubters & dissenters to Reliance of the Traveller, O8.1 & O8.7-7.

    3:151. We
    shall cast terror
    into the hearts of those who disbelieve,
    because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent
    no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of
    the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers).

    8:12.
    (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, “Verily, I am with you,
    so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the
    hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and
    smite over all their fingers and toes
    .”

    8:57.
    So if you gain the mastery
    over them in war, punish them severely in order to disperse those who
    are behind them
    , so that they may learn a lesson.

    8:60.
    And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of
    war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to threaten the enemy of Allâh
    and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom
    Allâh does know. And whatever you shall spend in the Cause of Allâh
    shall be repaid unto you, and you shall not be treated unjustly.

    9:120.
    It was not becoming of the people of Al-Madinah and the bedouins of the
    neighbourhood to remain behind Allâh’s Messenger (Muhammad  when
    fighting in Allâh’s Cause) and (it was not becoming of them) to prefer
    their own lives to his life. That is because they suffer neither thirst
    nor fatigue, nor hunger in the Cause of Allâh, nor they take any step to raise the
    anger of disbelievers nor inflict any injury upon an enemy but is
    written to their credit as a deed of righteousness.
    Surely,
    Allâh wastes not the reward of the Muhsinûn

    33:26. And those of the people of the Scripture
    who backed them (the disbelievers) Allâh brought them down from their
    forts and cast terror
    into their hearts, (so that) a
    group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives
    .

    33:27. And He caused you to inherit their lands, and their houses, and
    their riches, and a land which you had not trodden (before). And Allâh
    is Able to do all things.

    59:2.
    He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the

    59:13. Verily, you
    (believers in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic
    Monotheism) are more awful as
    a fear in their
    (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh.
    That is because they are a people who comprehend
    not (the Majesty and Power of Allâh).

    Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331:

    Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:

    The Prophet said, “I have been given five things which were not given
    to any one else before me.

    1. Allah made me victorious by
    awe,
    (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one
    month’s journey.

    2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for
    praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my
    followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.

    3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful
    for anyone else before me.

    4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of
    Resurrection).

    5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been
    sent to all mankind.

    Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:

    Narrated Abu Huraira:

    Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the
    shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with
    terror
    (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was
    sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and
    put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world
    and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet
    did not benefit by them).

    33:21.
    Indeed in the Messenger of
    Allâh
    (Muhammad ) you have a good example to follow for
    him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day and
    remembers Allâh much.

    Moe is the Muslim role model; what did he do? How was he made
    victorious?  There is the tap root of terrorism.

  9. OIC Convention on
    Combating Terrorism

    “Terrorism” means any act of violence
    or threat thereof
    notwithstanding its motives or intentions
    perpetrated
    to carry out
    an individual or collective criminal plan with the aim of terrorizing
    people
    or threatening to harm them or imperiling their lives,
    honor,
    freedoms, security or rights or exposing the environment or any
    facility or public or private property to hazards or occupying or
    seizing them, or endangering a national resource, or international
    facilities, or threatening the stability, territorial integrity,
    political unity or sovereignty of independent States

    This
    paragraph from the convention’s preamble shows us exactly why the U.N.
    is not able to define terrorism:  The OIC refuses to admit the
    fact that the PLO, HAMAS & Hezbollah are terrorists.

    Confirming the legitimacy of the right
    of peoples to struggle against foreign occupation and colonialist and
    racist regimes by
    all means, including armed struggle to liberate their territories and
    attain their rights to self-determination and independence in
    compliance with the purposes and principles of the Charter and
    resolutions of the United Nations

  10. The real cause
    is Allah’s damnable jihad imperatives enshrined in Surah Al-Anfal &
    Surah At-Taubah.

  11. How is reconciliation possible
    between Islam and Judaism?  “Worst of living creatures”, “those
    who earned Allah’s wrath”, “fight those who”, “He would certainly keep
    on sending against them (i.e. the Jews), till the Day of Resurrection,
    those who would afflict them with a humiliating torment.”[7:167],
    “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and
    the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There
    is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.””[Sahih Bukhari 4.52.177].

  15. Islam demands that it be shielded
    from exposure; that we be prevented from lifting the lid of the septic
    tank so that the world can see and smell Islam as it really is.  I
    intend, whenever I see that demonic demand reiterated, to use it as an
    occasion for lifting that lid.  Terrorism is an intrinsic
    sacrament of Islam. This fatal fact is established by the numerous ayat
    and two hadith which sanctify & exemplify terrorism.

Yes, the OIC remembers the accursed abomination,
with swelling pride & satisfaction at the havoc wrought by the
magnificent 19, who earned Brownie Points towards better seats in
Allah’s Celestial Bordello  by steps taken to injure & enrage
disbelievers ten years ago.  No, they do not condemn terrorism
because to do so would make them apostates, subject to execution.

Islam is a package deal: all or
nothing
. It is not possible to renounce terrorism without
renouncing Islam, which is why they won’t do it.  From this day
forward, you can ask any Muslim: “how did Allah make Muhammad
victorious?”. When he lies to you, you can cite Sahih Bukhari, 1.7.331:
Allah made me victorious by
awe,
(by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one
month’s journey. ” and 4.52.220: “I have been made victorious with
terror
(cast in the hearts of the enemy),”

From this day forward, when any Muslim asserts
falsely that terrorism is harram, you can cite the numerous ayat which
sanctify it, the best of which, although indirect, is 9:120, which
promises rewards for any step taken to injure or enrage
disbelievers.  8:27 & 59: 2 fit together hand in glove,
forming a congruent pattern which can not be denied.

Ryan left a comment on Sheikh Tahir-ul-Qadri’s terrorism Fatwa: Bogus! I will insert superscripts in his screed to correlate to my responses to the important points.

Ok, now you are out and out lying. 1

First off, the reason the fight broke out with the Banu Quariyza was because they tried to double cross the muslims DESPITE HAVING A PEACE TREATY. That constitutes TREASON and in Jewish law (and every other law in existence) Treason equals death. under jewish law, everyone would have died. Given that tamiyaana is only trusted by one sect shalfi, his interpretation is rather suspect. As for the children; during those times, every single culture (non muslim alike) was of the opinion that when you attacked, any one old enough to carry a sword was a threat, and as such, dead meat. 2

Also, Your assumption that non muslims were not to recieve the same treatment as muslims is also flawed (they say “children” not muslim childrens, and during this time they were at war with…..you guessed it, non muslims.) If muhammed was only at war with non muslims, then how in gods name do you explain it? 3

Islam has first drawn a clear line of distinction between the combatants and the non-combatants of the enemy country. As far as the non-combatant population is concerned such as women, children, the old and the infirm, etc., the instructions of the Prophet are as follows:

“Do not kill any old person, any child or any woman” (Abu Dawud). “Do not kill the monks in monasteries” or “Do not kill the people who are sitting in places of worship” (Musnad of Ibn Hanbal).

During a war, the Prophet saw the corpse of a woman lying on the ground and observed: “She was not fighting. How then she came to be killed?” From this statement of the Prophet the exegetists and jurists have drawn the principle that those who are non-combatants should not be killed during or after the war
Why did he use “any?”

And why did he say “”Stop, O people, that I may give you ten rules for your guidance in the battlefield. Do not commit treachery or deviate from the right path. You must not mutilate dead bodies. Neither kill a child, nor a woman, nor an aged man. Bring no harm to the trees, nor burn them with fire, especially those which are fruitful. Slay not any of the enemy’s flock, save for your food. You are likely to pass by people who have devoted their lives to monastic services; leave them alone” to an army on the way to attack Byzantine territory? At that point, Islam was still confined to saudi arabia.

and how do you ecplain these statements

It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said: Do not desire an encounter with the enemy; but when you encounter them, be firm. – Muslim Book 019, Number 4313

It is narrated on the authority of ‘Abdullah that a woman was found killed in one of the battles fought by the Messenger of Allah . He disapproved of the killing of women and children. – Muslim Book 019, Number 4319

YUSUFALI: Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them).
PICKTHAL: Except those who seek refuge with a people between whom and you there is a covenant, or (those who) come unto you because their hearts forbid them to make war on you or make war on their own folk. Had Allah willed He could have given them power over you so that assuredly they would have fought you. So, if they hold aloof from you and wage not war against you and offer you peace, Allah alloweth you no way against them.
SHAKIR: Except those who reach a people between whom and you there is an alliance, or who come to you, their hearts shrinking from fighting you or fighting their own people; and if Allah had pleased, He would have given them power over you, so that they should have certainly fought you; therefore if they withdraw from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not given you a way against them.

Again, showing that islam clearly intended for peace treaties to be honored.

And do not dispute with the followers of the Book except by what is best, except those of them who act unjustly, and say: We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and our God and your God is One, and to Him do we submit. [Qur’an 29:46]
In other places the Qur’an says:

Not all of them are alike; a party of the people of the Scripture stand for the right, they recite the Verses of God during the hours of the night, prostrating themselves in prayer. They believe in God and the Last Day; they enjoin Al-Ma’rûf and forbid Al-Munkar ; and they hasten in (all) good works; and they are among the righteous. And whatever good they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for God knows well those who are Al-Muttaqûn .(3:113-115)
And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in God and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before God. They do not sell the Verses of God for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, God is Swift in account. ‘(3:199)’
Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in God and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve . [Qur’an 2:62]
Say (O Muhammad ): “O people of the Scripture : Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but God, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides God. [Qur’an 3:64]

Why did jewish life in muslim countries come across as better then the absolute hell hole that was chritisan europe?

The hanafi school of islamic thought has also made it quite clear that as far as they are concerned, defensive warfare is the only kind allowed, meaning that there are many who DON’T heed reliance of a traveller.

The Quran outranks the hadith, and the quran says that non muslims shouldn’t be slaughtered in battle (unlless they are enemy soldiers). Seriously, do real reserach rather then finding the scholars who agree with you and completely ignoring logic in order to suit your own world view4

2.  The story of the genocide starts on 461 of The Life of Muhammad. In the hadith, turn to Sahih Bukhari 4.52.280 and Tafsir Ibn Kathir.

3.  I find nothing in the original post about unequal treatment. In that post, I established the motivation behind the prohibition of killing women and children. Dead bodies have no value on the slave market.  Turn to 33:26-27.  What happened to those women and children?  Islamic law has a clue for you.

o9.13 When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled.

4. There are plenty of contradictory hadith, Moe allowed killing children in night raids and when using catapaults to throw burning projectiles.  Cherry picking does not overcome the fatal facts:

Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331:
Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:
The Prophet said, “I have been given five things which were not given to any one else before me.
1. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month’s journey.
2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.
3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me.
4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection).
5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind.

That is the testimony of Moe’s bosom buddies who fought shoulder to shoulder with him, not his enemies.  The facts are fatal to the  big lie.

First of all, Taquiiya is a shia muslim concept, not a sunni one. as a sunnin, abdullah would not be one to utilize it1 . two, taquiyya means saying that your not a muslim. Also, it’s possible to make an enemy fear you by kicking their asses in military combat.2

The Qur’an commands Muslims to make a proper declaration of war prior to the commencement of military operations. Thus, surprise attacks are illegal under the Islamic jurisprudence. The Qur’an had similarly commanded Muhammad to give his enemies, who had violated the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, a time period of four months to reconsider their position and negotiate.[25] This rule, however, is not binding if the adversary has already started the war.[26] Forcible prevention of religious practice is considered an act of war.[27]

You claim that any people who caim misintrepraation are fools; why is kathir’s interpreation less valide then the interpretations of other scholars?

tell me, are these sources wrong also? They all draw basis from the quran and hadiths, yet they pretty much say that you are full of.

Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Auliyâ (supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allâh in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them. And Allâh warns you against Himself (His Punishment), and to Allâh is the final return.

 

(unless you indeed fear a danger from them) meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda’ said, “We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.” Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, “The Tuqyah is allowed until the Day of Resurrection.” [The Prohibition of Supporting the Disbelievers]

Sunni or Shi’ia, they believe in the same demon, emulate the same brigand and read the same Qur’an.  Islam is a lie and Muslims are liars; I am not deceived. The specific example from which the concept developed is narrow, the general application is much broader.

2. Terror is terror, no matter how it is induced. Moe intentionally built a reputation for barbarian brutality for the purpose of intimidating his victims.  Four ayat are particularly applicable.

8:57. So if you gain the mastery over them in war, punish them severely in order to disperse those who are behind them, so that they may learn a lesson.

59:2. He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banî An-Nadîr) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allâh! But Allâh’s (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then take admonition, O you with eyes (to see).

59:13. Verily, you (believers in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) are more awful as a fear in their (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh. That is because they are a people who comprehend not (the Majesty and Power of Allâh).

8:60. Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of God and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom God doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of God, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.

It may be possible, but when one settlement surrendered, Moe had the men and adolescent boys  decapitated, enslaving the rest.  People with common sense will perceive that conquest is undesirable even without genocide.  On page 131 of The Life of Muhammad, he is quoted thusly: “By him who holds my life in His hand I bring you slaughter.'”

4. Muslims who deviate from the standard, such as Ahmadiyya, are the exception which proves the rule.

6. Define oppression.  Islam’s definition is any resistance to domination by Muslims.  I am not jumping into any semantic traps. The accursed Qur’an is absolutely clear on this matter, there is no possibility of misinterpretation of these verses.

8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.

9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2).

Compare the translations, click the context links and examine the surrounding ayat for modifiers to the commands. Compare the tafsirs. When the evidence is considered, truth stands out above fiction.

7.  Shaffi’ite Fiqh is explicit on this matter: if there is no caliph, no permission is required.

o9.6 It is offensive to conduct a military expedition against hostile non-Muslims without the caliph’s permission (A: though if there is no caliph (def: o25), no permission is required).

If jihad is possible but neglected, everyone who knew of the fard al-kifaya and neglected it is in a state of sin.
Book o9.1 makes this clear, and also informs us that offensive jihad is an annual obligation.

[…]If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year.[…]

8.  Jihad is not an anachronism. Moe explicitly stated that it would be performed continuously until Judgment Day and cursed Muslims in the eventuality of its abandonment.

Sunan  Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.

Sunan Abu Dawud Book 23, Number 3455:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

 

Sheikh Tahir-ul-Qadri’s terrorism Fatwa: Bogus!

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has issued a 600 page fatwa, written in Urdu, which he hopes to have translated and published in English.
The fatwa is entitled: FATWA ON SUICIDE BOMBINGS AND TERRORISM. I have linked the title to an 88 page English summary in pdf format.  It is likely that when published in English, the fatwa will appear on or near this minhaj books page.

Taken at face value, the fatwa appears to condemn violence against civilian populations without reservation. It places the greatest emphasis on condemning attacks against Muslims, particularly against Mosques.  Unfortunately, I can not accept the fatwa at face value.

Cherry Picking: quote out of context

Beware of trickery: quoting the Qur’an out of context to distort the meaning of an ayeah, giving it a false application.
This occurs on page 52 of the description & summary where, writing about the terrorists, this citation is made:

The Holy Qur’an has vividly described them in this verse:
“It is those whose entire struggle is wasted in worldly life, but they presume they are doing very good works.” (Al-Qur’an, 18: 104)

In fact, that verse describes disbelievers; Jews & Christians. Observe the context. [Hilali & Khan quoted, linked to Pickthall, Shakir & Yusuf Ali; links below to Hilali & Khan and ten parallel translations Emphasis added for clarity.]

18:100. And on that Day We shall present Hell to the disbelievers, plain to view,

18:101. (To) Those whose eyes had been under a covering from My Reminder (this Qur’ân), and who could not bear to hear (it).

18:102. Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves [i.e., the angels, Allâh’s Messengers, ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), etc.] as Auliyâ’ (lords, gods, protectors, etc.) besides Me? Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism).

18:103. Say (O Muhammad ): “Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds?

18:104. “Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds!

18:105. “They are those who deny the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter). So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not give them any weight.

18:106. “That shall be their recompense, Hell; because they disbelieved and took My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and My Messengers by way of jest and mockery.

On page 33, a new section begins, entitled “THE QUESTIONS THAT SPRING TO  MIND AND THEIR BRIEF ANSWERS”

Q: The first question in this connection that concerns all relates to use of force to spread beliefs: is it lawful for a group or organisation to use force to promote and put into effect their own creed and beliefs in the name of reforming others’ beliefs and ideologies, presuming themselves to be on the right path? Does Islam allow, somehow, the killing of people because of  ideological differences, looting their wealth and properties and destroying mosques, religious places and shrines?.

A: Islam is a religion of peace and safety that champions love and harmony in society. According to Islamic teachings, only such a person will be called a Muslim at whose hands the lives and properties of all innocent Muslims and non-Muslims remain safe and unhurt. The sanctity of human life and its protection occupies a fundamental place in Islamic law. Taking anyone’s life for  nothing is an act that is forbidden and unlawful. Rather, in some cases, it amounts to infidelity.[…]  [Emphasis added, spelling original.]

Is it lawful for Islam to use force to promote and establish itself’; to make it superior over all other religions? Let us consult Reliance of the Traveller, the handbook of Shari’ah.

O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad

The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,

“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),

the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace).  After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),

“I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,”

this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according to the Evangel, but as a follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ). [Emphasis & link added.]

Does Islam allow killing people because they are not Muslims and seizing their  property?  Once again, we turn first to Shari’ah for the answer. Book O, Chapter 9, Section 25 lists  eight duties of subordinate rulers. The last item in the list is of interest to us.

O25.9-8- and if the area has a border adjacent to enemy lands, an eighth duty arises, namely to undertake jihad against enemies, dividing the spoils of battle among combatants, and setting aside fifth (def: o10.3) for deserving recipients.

Of course that could only refer to established enemies of Islam who have been harassing & attacking Muslims, right?  Wrong!

O9.1The Obligatory Character of Jihad

[…] In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.

The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year. […]

Muslims have an annually recurring communal obligation to attack disbelievers even though they are in their own countries, peacefully attending their own domestic affairs.  Allow killing people and taking their property?  No, it is required, not allowed.

According to the Sheikh, ” Islam is a religion of peace…at whose hands the lives and properties of all …innocent non-Muslims remain safe and unhurt”. The truth is that Allah issued imperatives to wage jihad against pagans until resistance ceases and  Allah has a monopoly; against Jews & Christians until they are subjugated and make annual extortion payments.  When we read Surahs al-Anfal & at-Taubah, we learn that Islam is permanent war.

8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.

9:29. So all innocent people remain safe and secure in their property?  Caution!  Words spoken by Muslims do not mean what you want them to mean, their meaning is assigned by the Muslims who speak them. Innocent means Muslim.  If you are not Muslim, you are a rebel against Allah, waging war against him.

Another question and answer, found on pages 36 & 37 respectively,  provides more proof   that the fatwa is malignant maundery.

Q: The third question arises: does Islam offer clear commands on the sanctity of human life? Is it lawful to
kidnap and assassinate foreign delegates and innocent  and peaceful non-Muslim citizens to avenge the
injustices and disruption of the non-Muslim global powers?

A: The importance Islam lays on the sanctity and dignity of human life can be gauged from the fact that
Islam does not allow indiscriminate killing even when Muslim armies are engaged in war
against enemy
troops. The killing of children, women, the old, infirm, religious leaders and traders is strictly prohibited. Nor
can those who surrender their arms, confine themselves to their homes and seek shelter of anyone
be killed. The public cannot be massacred. Likewise, places of worship, buildings, crops and even trees
cannot be destroyed. On the one hand, there is a clear set of Islamic laws based on extreme discretion, and on
the other, there are people who invoke the name of Islam to justify the indiscriminate killing of people,
children, and women everywhere, without any distinction of religion or identity. It is a pity that such
barbaric people still refer to their activities as Jihad.

Lets see what Muhammad, the founder of Islam said about the sanctity of human life.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”

Our blood and property are not sacred to Muslims and we have no rights until we become Muslim.  Now let us examine the proscription on killing women and children; surely it must  be founded on morality?

Muslim Book 019, Number 4294:
It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraid through his father that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say: Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. […]

Note the acts which would defile and profane a holy war; two of them are relevant to our quest for truth.

What do embezzlement and killing children have in common?  Our first hint will come from Shari’ah.

O9.13

When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled.

Is it clear to you yet?  If not, Ibn Taimiyyah  has the final clue for you, from The Religious and Moral Doctrine On Jihad.

As for those who cannot offer resistance or cannot fight, such as women, children, monks, old people, the blind, handicapped and their likes, they shall not be killed, unless they actually fight with words [e.g. by propaganda] and acts [e.g. by spying or otherwise assisting in the warfare].

Some [jurists] are of the opinion that all of them may be killed, on the mere ground that they are unbelievers, but they make an exception for women and children since they constitute property for Muslims.

I emphasized the most critical clause in case there might be some readers with limited comprehension skills. The proscription on killing women and children is economic, not moral.

In the matter of those who surrendered; the Sheikh asserts that they must not be killed. Muhammad’s excellent companions reveal the truth.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 280:

Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri:

When the tribe of Bani Quraiza was ready to accept Sad’s judgment, Allah’s Apostle sent for Sad who was near to him. Sad came, riding a donkey and when he came near, Allah’s Apostle said (to the Ansar), “Stand up for your leader.” Then Sad came and sat beside Allah’s Apostle who said to him. “These people are ready to accept your judgment.” Sad said, “I give the judgment that their warriors should be killed and their children and women should be taken as prisoners.” The Prophet then remarked, “O Sad! You have judged amongst them with (or similar to) the judgment of the King Allah.”

So, what did Muhammad do?

Sunan  Abu Dawud Book 38, Number 4390:
Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi:
I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.

They surrendered after a long siege, Muhammad decapitated them and threw them into a trench, then he did the same to their adolescent sons. Can you say genocide?  Can you recognize the fact that, like all Muslims, the learned Sheikh is a liar; that his fatwa is  malignant manure?  If not, then do the nation a favor, burn your voter registration card.

Extremism is Integral to Islam

OIC Statement by Ambassador Masood Khan on “Incitement to Racial and Religious Hatred and the Promotion of Tolerance” at The Human Rights Council, Geneva, 21 September 2006

To suggest that extremism is integral to Islam is a misrepresentation of the true message of Islam.

What is extremism? Does it include Jihad, genocide & terrorism? What if those are intrinsic sacraments of Islam, can they still be considered extreme?  What did Allah command concerning them? What did Moe say and do about them?

  • 2:216. Jihad (holy fighting in Allah’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.
  • 8:39. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

    I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

Jihad is mandatory, not optional. Jihad is included in two imperatives. Moe was ordered to fight. Muslims will be cursed if they abandon it in favor of productive pursuits.

  • 8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allah desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise

So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah’s Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam ….

    Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi:
    I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.

Moe was commanded to make a great slaughter as a condition of entering Paradise. Muslims are commanded to kill and wound many. Moe committed genocide against Banu Qurayzah. Clearly, genocide is part of Islam’s standard, not extremism.

    Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand.“…

Terrorism is not extremism, it is an intrinsic function of Islam; part of the standard.

Jihad, genocide & terrorism are integral to Islam as Moe revealed and practiced it. Since he set the standard, they are standard Islam, neither extreme nor radical.

Criticism or commentary must be constructive and should not run contrary to the international community’s efforts to develop tolerance and mutual understanding. The cause of promoting tolerance and understanding may be defeated if one were to take a position of championing freedom of expression by publishing, broadcasting or telecasting items knowing fully that the report may spark off violent consequences.

There is nothing less rational than tolerance of intolerance:

  • 3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad  and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allah – and rebellious against Allah’s Command).

    Narrated Abu Huraira:

    The Verse:–“You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind.” means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam.

Islam has no respect nor tolerance for our beliefs, neither does it respect us.

    Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”

Once again, the Ambassador, speaking for 57 Islamic nations, says “shut up or we’ll kill you.  Our criticism of Islam is to be condemned and censored; Islam’s demonization, cursing & declaration of perpetual war is all fine and good.  The Mullahs & Imams can wave swords and shout “kill them” till  they’re blue in the face, thats accepted, but I must not tell you that Islam does that. Nonsense!

Limit Freedom of Expression

We are often confronted with the dilemma of setting limits to the media’s right to freedom of expression. The media has its own values and right to freedom of expression is surely sacrosanct. But the exercise of those rights have to be tempered with responsibility to avoid anarchy or violence. It has to be ensured that the power in
possession of the modern day media is handled in a most responsible manner and not misused or abused by utterances, writings or caricatures that may incite intolerance and destabilize societies.

Translation: “Don’t say anything bad about us  or we’ll kill you.”  A Danish newspaper published some cartoons, one of which depicted Moe with a bomb in his bonnet, with the clear implication  that Moe was a terrorist. Moe never hurled a bomb because he died before the invention of gunpowder. He would not have detonated himself because he was the indispensible leader. But he preached & practiced terrorism. The cartoon was accurate in concept if not in litteral detail.

Who expressed intolerance? Who rioted? Who burned buildings and killed innocent people?  It was not the cartoonists nor the publisher neither was it the subscribers who viewed the cartoons. It was the Muslim mobs, incited by their Imams at Jumah prayer meetings.

The need of the hour therefore of all stakeholders is to sensitize the world of the dangerous consequences of intolerance and to adopt an approach to both talk and to listen. A collective initiative that include political leaders, Governments, NGOs and the civil society must be taken to guide and motivate the world community to remain engaged in a serious dialogue in a spirit of mutual understanding for developing respect and appreciation of opposing points of view. Self-righteousness and attitudes to preach and patronize must be substituted by the will to listen, appreciate and accommodate.

A point that OIC Secretary General Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has emphasized time and again is that Islam and the West could and should live and co-exist together in peace and harmony as the common denominators that link them outweigh their differences. In his view, we share the universal standards that human dignity is inviolable and striving for democracy is an important foundation for human dignity, individual liberties, and freedom of religion. He firmly believes that by deploying joint efforts for the recognition of the other and cultural diversity and addressing the root causes of terrorism, the world would be very close to a historic reconciliation between Islam and the West, and deny “la raison d”etre” for Islamophobia. Islam and the West could and should live and co-exist together in peace and harmony as the common denominators that link them outweigh their differences.

What did Allah say about that in his book?

  1. 8:39. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.

The caliph (o-25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o-11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,
“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),
the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace). After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace), “I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,” this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according to the Evangel, but as a follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ).

The caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim (O: because they are not a people with a Book, nor honored as such, and are not permitted to settle with paying the poll tax (jizya) ) (n: though according to the Hanafi school, peoples of all other religions, even idol worshippers, are permitted to live under the protection of the Islamic state if they either become Muslim or agree to pay the poll tax, the sole exceptions to which are apostates from Islam and idol worshippers who are Arabs, neither of whom has any choice but becoming Muslim (al-Hidaya sharh Bidaya al-mubtadi’ (y-21), 6.48-49) ).

The O.I.C.’s Secretary General says that we should live together in peace and harmony. Why does he say something that directly contradicts what Allah said? Does he know better than Allah? Am I mis-interpreting Allah’s word? Lets check with Ibn Kathir, who spent his lifetime studying Islam’s canon of scripture, tradition & jurisprudence.

What did Moe say regarding human dignity? Whom do Muslims emulate, Moe or the Secretary General?

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:

According to Moe, our blood and property are not sacred to Muslims, only becoming sacred to them when we become Muslims. Moe was an exemplar of good manners, lets see what else he taught about human dignity.

Sahih Muslim Book 026, Number 5389:

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the narrowest part of it.

Does Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu know Allah’s will better than Allah’s Apostle, or is he just another lying politician set out to deceive us?

Since when do slaves have liberties? Oh, you didn’t know? Muslims are Allah’s slaves.

2:186. And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright

3:19. Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account.

3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

Islamic terrorism is doctrine driven, not grievance driven. Islam is the cause, not poverty, ignorance nor oppression.

The phenomenon of Islamophobia now concerns everybody. The United Nations has tried to address the issue by holding several seminars. The former UN Secretary General Kofi Anan in a speech on 7th December 2004 stated inter alia that Islam’s tenets are frequently distorted and taken out of context, with particular acts or practices being taken  to represent or to symbolize a rich and complex faith. He said that “some claim that Islam is incompatible with democracy, or irrevocably hostile to modernity and the rights of women. And in too many circles, disparaging remarks about Muslims are allowed to pass without censure, with the result that prejudice acquires a veneer of acceptability. Stereotypes also depict Muslims as opposed to the West, despite a history not only of conflict but also of cooperation, and of influencing and enriching each other’s art and science. European civilization would not have advanced to the extent it did had Christian scholars not benefited from th e learning and literature of Islam in the Middle Ages and later”.

Here we have a broad general statement without substantiation and proof.  What context? The Qur’an has no chronology, being organized by the length of the Surahs, and  little context except where sentences are divided among ayat. I prefer to focus on the most dangerous and damning tenets: the sacraments of conquest, genocide & terrorism.

9:29 is imperative, how can it be distorted?  How is it disproved by the rest of Surah Al-Taubah? The fact that Muhammad engaged in aggressive wars of conquest is clear on the face of Bukhari’s & Muslim’s books of Jihad.  8:67 clearly sets genocide as a prerequisite for ransoming prisoners and admission to Paradise.Ample confirmation is found in
Abu Dawud 38.4390.  I quoted Hilali & Khan; click the link and compare translations. 8:12 is compatible with 3:151, 33:26 & 59:2. Ample confirmation is found in Sahin Bukhari 4.52.220 .

President Bush claims that Islam is compatible with democracy. The claim is provably false.  Democracy is rule by the people, through consensus.  Islam is rule by Allah, through his Messenger  & Caliphs. Islam regards man made law as blasphemy. how can the two be compatible?

33:36. It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.

Moe rules; autocracy, not democracy.

The status of women in Islam  is not so elevated as that lofty phrase is intended to mislead us to believe.

2:223. Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth (have sexual relations with your wives in any manner as long as it is in the vagina and not in the anus), when or how you will, and send (good deeds, or ask Allâh to bestow upon you pious offspring) before you for your ownselves. And fear Allâh, and know that you are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give good tidings to the believers (O Muhammad ).

Wives are fields to be plowed; chattel.

4:34. Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allâh and to their husbands), and guard in the husband’s absence what Allâh orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband’s property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see ill­conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allâh is Ever Most High, Most Great.

Men are superior to their wives and have a right to beat them.

4:24. Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those (captives and slaves) whom your right hands possess. Thus has Allâh ordained for you. All others are lawful, provided you seek (them in marriage) with Mahr (bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) from your property, desiring chastity, not committing illegal sexual intercourse, so with those of whom you have enjoyed sexual relations, give them their Mahr as prescribed; but if after a Mahr is prescribed, you agree mutually (to give more), there is no sin on you. Surely, Allâh is Ever All­Knowing, All­Wise.

Muslim men are free to sexually exploit women, even if they were married, captured in their gazwat.

4:11. Allâh commands you as regards your children’s (inheritance); to the male, a portion equal to that of two females; if (there are) only daughters, two or more, their share is two thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is half. For parents, a sixth share of inheritance to each if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased left brothers or (sisters), the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases is) after the payment of legacies he may have bequeathed or debts. You know not which of them, whether your parents or your children, are nearest to you in benefit, (these fixed shares) are ordained by Allâh. And Allâh is Ever All­Knower, All­Wise.

A male inherits twice as much as a female.

2:282. O you who believe! When you contract a debt for a fixed period, write it down. Let a scribe write it down in justice between you. Let not the scribe refuse to write as Allâh has taught him, so let him write. Let him (the debtor) who incurs the liability dictate, and he must fear Allâh, his Lord, and diminish not anything of what he owes. But if the debtor is of poor understanding, or weak, or is unable himself to dictate, then let his guardian dictate in justice. And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her. And the witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (for evidence). You should not become weary to write it (your contract), whether it be small or big, for its fixed term, that is more just with Allâh; more solid as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves, save when it is a present trade which you carry out on the spot among yourselves, then there is no sin on you if you do not write it down. But take witnesses whenever you make a commercial contract. Let neither scribe nor witness suffer any harm, but if you do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So be afraid of Allâh; and Allâh teaches you. And Allâh is the All-Knower of each and everything.

A woman’s witness is worth only half that of a man.

The O.I.C. is pressing the U.N. to press member states to outlaw criticism of Islam.  They want Islam’s blasphemy law enforced upon the entire world.  They would outlaw this blog post. They would outlaw Fitna, in which Geert Wilders displayed accurate quotes from the Qur’an along with offensive statements by Imams and signs displayed by Muslim mobs.   The advance report for Durban II explicitly equates Islamophobia to racism.

4.  Emphasizes the urgent need to address the scourges of anti-Semitism, Christianophobia, and Islamophobia as contemporary forms of racism as well as racial and violent movements based on racism and discriminatory ideas directed at African, Arab, Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other communities;

Examine the most recent UNHRC resolution on ‘defamation of religions’.
A/HRC/7/L.11

  1. Urges States to take actions to prohibit the dissemination, including through political institutions and organizations, of racist and xenophobic ideas and material aimed at any religion or its followers that constitute incitement to racial and religious hatred, hostility or violence;
  2. Also urges States to provide, within their respective legal and constitutional systems, adequate protection against acts of hatred, discrimination, intimidation and coercion resulting from the defamation of any religion, to take all possible measures to promote tolerance and respect for all religions and their value systems and to complement legal systems with intellectual and moral strategies to combat religious hatred and intolerance;
  3. Emphasizes that respect of religions and their protection from contempt is an
    essential element conducive for the exercise by all of the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion;

Why should Islam be shielded from contempt when it is eminently contemptible; sanctifying and mandating barbarian conquest, genocide and terrorism as proved above by reference to its own canon of scripture & tradition?

Islamophobia implies irrational fear & loathing of Islam. What is irrational about fearing a predatory institution which has caused the premature death of millions? Islam desired to be feared; cultivates that fear. Doubt that ?  Perhaps you shouldn’t.

3:151.We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers).

8:12. (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, “Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.

59:2. He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Bani An-Nadir) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But Allah’s (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then take admonition, O you with eyes (to see).

59:13. Verily, you (believers in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) are more awful as a fear in their (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh. That is because they are a people who comprehend not (the Majesty and Power of Allâh).

This hadith contains an example of taking admonition.

Sahih Bukhari 4.52.195
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet set out for Khaibar and reached it at night. He used not to attack if he reached the people at night, till the day broke. So, when the day dawned, the Jews came out with their bags and spades. When they saw the Prophet; they said, “Muhammad and his army!” The Prophet said, Allahu–Akbar! (Allah is Greater) and Khaibar is ruined, for whenever we approach a nation (i.e. enemy to fight) then it will be a miserable morning for those who have been warned.”

Two hadith confirm Moe’s practice of terrorism.

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331:
Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:
The Prophet said, “I have been given five things which were not given to any one else before me.
1. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month’s journey.
2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.
3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me.
4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection).
5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind.

Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them)
