The OIC Remembers the Victims of 9/11 on its 10th Anniversary

The OIC did not condemn the Accursed Abomination, it celebrated it,
smirking & snickering at your gullibility.  Read between the
lines and between the words, scratch the surface and delve into Islam’s
canon to discover the unpleasant objective factual reality.
The  OIC’s malignant pretense is reproduced below with

On
the 10th anniversary of 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Organization of the
Islamic Cooperation (OIC) joins the international community in
remembering the horrendous and cowardly act of terrorism
and the tragic
loss of thousands of innocent human lives. The OIC was among the first
in expressing shock and horror at the dastardly terrorist attack and in
condemning it in
the strongest terms1




The OIC seizes this
opportunity to reiterate its firm position of condemning terrorism
in
all its forms and manifestations and to underscore that terrorism is a
repugnant malady that seeks to destroy the fundamental ethos of
humanity. This principled position of the OIC against terrorism and
extremism is clearly stated in the OIC Ten Year Programme
of Action

adopted by the Heads of State and Government in 2005.2
The perpetrators of terror
have no respect
for human life or dignity3

and pursue an agenda of hate4
and destruction5.
They have no character, follow no faith
6
and live by a
dogma of violence
7. The OIC that is
guided by principles
of peace
and
tolerance
and moderation and modernization, is a major partner
of the
international, community in combating terrorism. In doing so, the OIC
Member States have themselves become the targets of terrorists and have
paid a heavy price in terms of human life and damage to property. The
OIC endeavors to combat
terrorism at its roots8
whatever its
possible
underpinnings, whether political, economic, social or technological.
This stand has been evidenced over the past decades through the
Organization’s endeavors to mobilize energies and efforts to fight
against terrorism. The OIC’s efforts were further strengthened with the
establishment of the Convention on Combating
Terrorism
in July 1999.
Perhaps, it is the only available Convention which defines terrorism9,
so far. 




In its firm belief that
combating terrorism requires a multi dimensional approach and not only
the use of military means to guarantee sustainable peace, the OIC
attaches enormous importance to identifying and addressing the root
causes of conflicts and disputes
10.
Dealing with
conflict through
the
comprehensive approach obviously carries huge potential benefits. 




In this regard, the OIC has
been vocal in calling for historical
reconciliation among
different
religions
, cultures, and civilizations
11, which would be seen as
catalyst
to debunk the myth of “clash of civilizations”12
elevated by the tragic
events of 9/11, which have, also, helped, unfortunately, the
Islamophobes to pursue with their discriminatory agenda towards Islam
and Muslims. It is worth mentioning that the OIC has always emphasized
that the international
community should act in the spirit of moderation
and dialogue to eliminate
all forms of hatred, intolerance and
discrimination
.13 The OIC
believes that the limits of
discrimination and
racism have already been defined by existing international human rights
instruments, including the consensually adopted HRC Resolution 16/18.
It is equally important to recall the need to observe the UNGA
Resolution 62/272
of September 5, 2008, which
negates the association
of Islam to terrorism
.14 The OIC,
in this regard, calls
for the
full
adherence
15
to these and other similar resolutions and
instruments. 




While commending the
initiatives of the international community on combating terrorism, the
OIC reiterates its readiness to cooperate with any
credible initiative in addressing the root causes and
consequences of
terrorism
with a view to having a safer world free from the evil
faces
of terrorism for our future generations.

    the terrorist attacks on the 11th of September 2001, the OIC issued a
    statement condemning the « brutal and criminal » acts, stating that
    they are in contradiction wth the teachings of Islam. The
    statementunderlined the need to distinguish the terrorism practised by
    groups and individuals from the national resistance of peoples for
    liberation from occupation and colonialism.”  Strongest possible

  2. VI.      Combating terrorism

     

    1.            Emphasize the
    condemnation of
    terrorism
    in all its forms, and reject any
    justification or rationalization
    for it, consider it as a global
    phenomenon that is not
    connected with any religion
    , race, color, or
    country, and distinguish
    it from the legitimate resistance to foreign
    occupation, which does not sanction the killing of innocent civilians
    .

     

    2.            Introduce
    comprehensive qualitative changes to national laws and legislations in
    order to criminalize all terrorist practices as well as all practices
    to support, finance, or instigate terrorism.

     

    3.            Affirm commitment to
    the OIC Convention on Combating Terrorism
    , participate
    actively in international counter-terrorism efforts, and endeavor to
    implement the recommendations of the International Conference on
    Combating Terrorism, held in Riyadh in February 2005, including the
    establishment of an International Center for Combating Terrorism, as
    well as the recommendations of the Special Meeting of OIC Foreign
    Ministers on Terrorism, held in Kuala Lumpur in April 2002.

     

    4.            Support
    efforts to develop an International Code of Conduct to Combat Terrorism
    and to convene an international conference or a special session of the
    UN General Assembly to reiterate the international consensus on
    establishing a comprehensive strategy to combat this dangerous
    phenomenon.

  4. 1:6. Guide us to the Straight Way

    1:7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned
    Your Anger
    (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray
    (such as the Christians).

    2:161. Verily, those who disbelieve, and die
    while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of Allâh and of
    the angels and of mankind,
    combined.

    2:162. They will abide therein
    (under the curse in Hell)
    , their punishment will neither be
    lightened, nor will they be reprieved.

    98:6.
    Verily, those who disbelieve
    (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad ()) from among the people of the
    Scripture
    (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They
    are the worst of creatures
    .

    [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet
    Muhammad  and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you
    enjoin Al-Ma’rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has
    ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that
    Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of
    the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better
    for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are
    Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh – and rebellious against Allâh’s
    Command).

    3:111. They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; and if
    they fight against you, they will show you their backs, and they will
    not be helped.

    3:112. Indignity is put over
    them
    wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of
    protection) from Allâh, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the
    Wrath of Allâh, and destruction
    is put over them.
    This is because they disbelieved in
    the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)
    of Allâh and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they
    disobeyed (Allâh) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allâh’s
    disobedience, crimes and sins).

    59:2. He it is Who drove out the disbelievers
    among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banî
    An-Nadîr) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think
    that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would
    defend them from Allâh! But Allâh’s (Torment) reached them from a place
    whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own
    dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then
    take admonition, O you with eyes
    (to see).

  6. What did they say when they slit the
    throats of the flight crews? “Allahhu Akbar”; “follow no faith”? What
    sort of Muslim follows no faith?

  7. Bukhari
    Ch 61 # 2756: …It is mentioned from Ibn ‘Umar from the Prophet, may
    Allah bless him and grant him peace, “My provision has been placed
    under the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humility have been
    placed on the one who disobeys my command.

    2:216. Jihâd
    (holy fighting in Allâh’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims)
    though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is
    good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh
    knows but you do not know.

    8:39. And fight
    them until
    there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism:
    i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for
    Allâh Alone
    [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease
    (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer
    of what they do.

    9:29. Fight
    against those who
    (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last
    Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His
    Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e.
    Islâm) among the people of the
    Scripture
    (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with
    willing submission, and feel themselves subdued
    .

  8. Terrorism is rooted in the Qur’an &
    sunnah.  To combat terrorism, it is necessary to abjure &
    curse the following ayat & ahadith without any hesitation, evasion
    or mental reservation whatsoever. No Muslim will abjure & curse
    these verses because by so doing, he would sign his own death warrant.
    I refer doubters & dissenters to Reliance of the Traveller, O8.1 & O8.7-7.

    3:151. We
    shall cast terror
    into the hearts of those who disbelieve,
    because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent
    no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of
    the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers).

    8:12.
    (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, “Verily, I am with you,
    so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the
    hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and
    smite over all their fingers and toes
    .”

    8:57.
    So if you gain the mastery
    over them in war, punish them severely in order to disperse those who
    are behind them
    , so that they may learn a lesson.

    8:60.
    And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of
    war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to threaten the enemy of Allâh
    and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom
    Allâh does know. And whatever you shall spend in the Cause of Allâh
    shall be repaid unto you, and you shall not be treated unjustly.

    9:120.
    It was not becoming of the people of Al-Madinah and the bedouins of the
    neighbourhood to remain behind Allâh’s Messenger (Muhammad  when
    fighting in Allâh’s Cause) and (it was not becoming of them) to prefer
    their own lives to his life. That is because they suffer neither thirst
    nor fatigue, nor hunger in the Cause of Allâh, nor they take any step to raise the
    anger of disbelievers nor inflict any injury upon an enemy but is
    written to their credit as a deed of righteousness.
    Surely,
    Allâh wastes not the reward of the Muhsinûn

    33:26. And those of the people of the Scripture
    who backed them (the disbelievers) Allâh brought them down from their
    forts and cast terror
    into their hearts, (so that) a
    group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives
    .

    33:27. And He caused you to inherit their lands, and their houses, and
    their riches, and a land which you had not trodden (before). And Allâh
    is Able to do all things.

    59:2.
    He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the
    Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banî An-Nadîr) from their
    homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would get

    Allâh! But Allâh’s (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they

    59:13. Verily, you
    (believers in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic
    Monotheism) are more awful as
    a fear in their
    (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh.
    That is because they are a people who comprehend
    not (the Majesty and Power of Allâh).

    Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331:

    Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:

    The Prophet said, “I have been given five things which were not given
    to any one else before me.

    1. Allah made me victorious by
    awe,
    (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one
    month’s journey.

    2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for
    praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my
    followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.

    3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful
    for anyone else before me.

    4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of
    Resurrection).

    5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been
    sent to all mankind.

    Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:

    Narrated Abu Huraira:

    Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the
    shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with
    terror
    (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was
    sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and
    put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world
    and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet
    did not benefit by them).

    33:21.
    Indeed in the Messenger of
    Allâh
    (Muhammad ) you have a good example to follow for
    him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day and
    remembers Allâh much.

    Moe is the Muslim role model; what did he do? How was he made
    victorious?  There is the tap root of terrorism.

  9. OIC Convention on
    Combating Terrorism

    “Terrorism” means any act of violence
    or threat thereof
    notwithstanding its motives or intentions
    perpetrated
    to carry out
    an individual or collective criminal plan with the aim of terrorizing
    people
    or threatening to harm them or imperiling their lives,
    honor,
    freedoms, security or rights or exposing the environment or any
    facility or public or private property to hazards or occupying or
    seizing them, or endangering a national resource, or international
    facilities, or threatening the stability, territorial integrity,
    political unity or sovereignty of independent States

    This
    paragraph from the convention’s preamble shows us exactly why the U.N.
    is not able to define terrorism:  The OIC refuses to admit the
    fact that the PLO, HAMAS & Hezbollah are terrorists.

    Confirming the legitimacy of the right
    of peoples to struggle against foreign occupation and colonialist and
    racist regimes by
    all means, including armed struggle to liberate their territories and
    attain their rights to self-determination and independence in
    compliance with the purposes and principles of the Charter and
    resolutions of the United Nations

  10. The real cause
    is Allah’s damnable jihad imperatives enshrined in Surah Al-Anfal &
    Surah At-Taubah.

  11. How is reconciliation possible
    between Islam and Judaism?  “Worst of living creatures”, “those
    who earned Allah’s wrath”, “fight those who”, “He would certainly keep
    on sending against them (i.e. the Jews), till the Day of Resurrection,
    those who would afflict them with a humiliating torment.”[7:167],
    “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and
    the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There
    is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.””[Sahih Bukhari 4.52.177].

  15. Islam demands that it be shielded
    from exposure; that we be prevented from lifting the lid of the septic
    tank so that the world can see and smell Islam as it really is.  I
    intend, whenever I see that demonic demand reiterated, to use it as an
    occasion for lifting that lid.  Terrorism is an intrinsic
    sacrament of Islam. This fatal fact is established by the numerous ayat
    and two hadith which sanctify & exemplify terrorism.

Yes, the OIC remembers the accursed abomination,
with swelling pride & satisfaction at the havoc wrought by the
magnificent 19, who earned Brownie Points towards better seats in
Allah’s Celestial Bordello  by steps taken to injure & enrage
disbelievers ten years ago.  No, they do not condemn terrorism
because to do so would make them apostates, subject to execution.

Islam is a package deal: all or
nothing
. It is not possible to renounce terrorism without
renouncing Islam, which is why they won’t do it.  From this day
forward, you can ask any Muslim: “how did Allah make Muhammad
victorious?”. When he lies to you, you can cite Sahih Bukhari, 1.7.331:
Allah made me victorious by
awe,
(by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one
month’s journey. ” and 4.52.220: “I have been made victorious with
terror
(cast in the hearts of the enemy),”

From this day forward, when any Muslim asserts
falsely that terrorism is harram, you can cite the numerous ayat which
sanctify it, the best of which, although indirect, is 9:120, which
promises rewards for any step taken to injure or enrage
disbelievers.  8:27 & 59: 2 fit together hand in glove,
forming a congruent pattern which can not be denied.

First of all, Taquiiya is a shia muslim concept, not a sunni one. as a sunnin, abdullah would not be one to utilize it1 . two, taquiyya means saying that your not a muslim. Also, it’s possible to make an enemy fear you by kicking their asses in military combat.2

It’s possible to fight jews and christians without slaughtering them.3 And there are schools of muslim thought who DON’T acocate offensive warfare.4 Hell the first appearence of that wasn’t until 200 years after muhammed died, and even then the only people it applied to were pagans There are certain directives of the Qur’an pertaining to war which were specific only to the Prophet Muhammad against Divinely specified peoples of his times (the polytheists and the Israelites and Nazarites of Arabia and some other Jews, Christians, et al.) as a form of Divine punishment — for they had persistently denied the truth of the Prophet’s mission even after it had been made conclusively evident to them by God through the Prophet, and asked the polytheists of Arabia for submission to Islam as a condition for exoneration and the others for jizya and submission to the political authority of the Muslims for exemption from death punishment and for military protection as the dhimmis of the Muslims. Therefore, after the Prophet and his Companions, there is no concept in Islam obliging Muslims to wage war for propagation or implementation of Islam.5 The only valid basis for jihad through arms is to end oppression when all other measures have failed.6 Islam only allows Jihad to be conducted by a Government7[14] with at least half the power of the enemy.[15][16]

The Qur’an commands Muslims to make a proper declaration of war prior to the commencement of military operations. Thus, surprise attacks are illegal under the Islamic jurisprudence. The Qur’an had similarly commanded Muhammad to give his enemies, who had violated the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, a time period of four months to reconsider their position and negotiate.[25] This rule, however, is not binding if the adversary has already started the war.[26] Forcible prevention of religious practice is considered an act of war.[27]

You claim that any people who caim misintrepraation are fools; why is kathir’s interpreation less valide then the interpretations of other scholars?

tell me, are these sources wrong also? They all draw basis from the quran and hadiths, yet they pretty much say that you are full of.

3:28. Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Auliyâ (supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allâh in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them. And Allâh warns you against Himself (His Punishment), and to Allâh is the final return.

 

(unless you indeed fear a danger from them) meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda’ said, “We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.” Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, “The Tuqyah is allowed until the Day of Resurrection.” [The Prohibition of Supporting the Disbelievers]

Sunni or Shi’ia, they believe in the same demon, emulate the same brigand and read the same Qur’an.  Islam is a lie and Muslims are liars; I am not deceived. The specific example from which the concept developed is narrow, the general application is much broader.

It may be possible, but when one settlement surrendered, Moe had the men and adolescent boys  decapitated, enslaving the rest.  People with common sense will perceive that conquest is undesirable even without genocide.  On page 131 of The Life of Muhammad, he is quoted thusly: “By him who holds my life in His hand I bring you slaughter.'”

4. Muslims who deviate from the standard, such as Ahmadiyya, are the exception which proves the rule.

5. Moe  fought in 17 battles and  his total was 86.  In another reply, I  posted an excerpt from the table of contents of  The Life of Muhammad.  It is thick with raids, battles & conquests.  The damnable details of the Jihad doctrine are documented in another series of posts:  Jihad.chm.

6. Define oppression.  Islam’s definition is any resistance to domination by Muslims.  I am not jumping into any semantic traps. The accursed Qur’an is absolutely clear on this matter, there is no possibility of misinterpretation of these verses.

8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.

9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2).

Compare the translations, click the context links and examine the surrounding ayat for modifiers to the commands. Compare the tafsirs. When the evidence is considered, truth stands out above fiction.

7.  Shaffi’ite Fiqh is explicit on this matter: if there is no caliph, no permission is required.

o9.6 It is offensive to conduct a military expedition against hostile non-Muslims without the caliph’s permission (A: though if there is no caliph (def: o25), no permission is required).

If jihad is possible but neglected, everyone who knew of the fard al-kifaya and neglected it is in a state of sin.
Book o9.1 makes this clear, and also informs us that offensive jihad is an annual obligation.

[…]If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. 8.  Jihad is not an anachronism. Moe explicitly stated that it would be performed continuously until Judgment Day and cursed Muslims in the eventuality of its abandonment.

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.

Sunan Abu Dawud Book 23, Number 3455:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

Islam is aggressively violent, by design; irreparably. I quote Islamic law.[Emphasis added for clarity.]

In 1786 Jefferson and John Adams went to negotiate with Tripoli’s envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman or (Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). They asked him by what right he extorted money and took slaves. Jefferson reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress:

The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet (Mohammed), that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman (or Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to heaven. Allah said:

Caliph Umar’s general told the Persians:

…Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:– “Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master.” Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 53, Number 386

Compare the answer of Sidi Haji Abdrahaman to Bukhari4.53.386:

If they believe and are faithful, they obey Allah’s commands by joining the Jihad, striving hard with their lives and their wealth. If not called to fight, they support Jihad with Zakat. How did the Holy Land Foundation raise $13M for Hamas?

8:2The believers are only those who, when Allâh is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur’ân) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone);

61:10. O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.

61:11.  That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

61:12. (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of ‘Adn ­ Eternity [‘Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.

What is the relationship between Allah & Muslims?

9:111. Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success .

That’s what Muslims do; they kill.  That’s what’s wrong with Muslims: they worship and obey a bloodthirsty demon who commands them to subjugate us.

Objections:

  • I have Muslim friends; nice people, well behaved.
    • Muslims are explicitly commanded, in several ayat, not to befriend Kuffar. I will cite one of them.
    • 60:1. O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism, this Qur’ân, and Muhammad ), and have driven out the Messenger (Muhammad ) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allâh your Lord! If you have come forth to strive in My Cause and to seek My Good Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and polytheists, etc., as your friends). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray, (away) from the Straight Path .
  • Most Muslims don’t engage in Jihad.
    • Yet. They haven’t been called by their Imam or Mullah. The Ummah is large and the battlefronts are relatively small. Once a sufficient number have answered the call, the rest are relieved unless an emergency occurs.

        The Prophet said, on the day of the Conquest of Mecca, “There is no migration (after the Conquest), but Jihad and good intentions, and when you are called for Jihad, you should immediately respond to the call.”

Moe’s Legacy of Violence

OIC Statement by Ambassador Masood Khan on “Incitement to Racial and Religious Hatred and the Promotion of Tolerance” at The Human Rights Council, Geneva, 21 September 2006

First the immediate context. Pope Benedict XVI’s recent speech in Regensburg University has led to protests in the Muslim world. His quotation from the 14th century Byzantine Emperor, Manuel II Paleologos, has deeply hurt the sensibilities of the Muslim all over the world. Since then we are reassured that the Pope has expressed regrets, distanced himself from the quotation from the emperor and given an invitation for frank dialogue, with mutual respect.

Unfortunately, that is not the end of the story because the Pope’s remarks have ignited a controversy about the true message of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and Islam. The Pope’s qualified and carefully worded apology, if it can be called one, or the Vatican’s clarification gives the impression that the Muslims have not fully understood the intent and reasoning behind the papal lecture. The irony is that they have.

The Emperor’s quotation is based on three elements: allegation against the Prophet’s legacy; a statement that Islam was spread by the sword; and a derivation that there is a nexus between violence and Islam and violence in Jihad.

The Ambassador takes up the three elements individually.

  1. Moe’s legacy.

One, the Prophet’s legacy is one of peace and amity; not of strife or war. He  was a peace-maker and a peace-builder.

Is that statement objectively true? Leaving the Qur’an aside for the moment as Allah’s legacy, not Moe’s, lets consider the Hadith which are Islam’s oral tradition of Moe’s legacy.

Was Moe a man of peace?

  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
    Narrated Anas bin Malik:
    Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”
  • Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4327:
    The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, This is because Allah saw our weakness and humility and made them lawful for us.
  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 54:
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
    The Prophet said, “By Him in Whose Hands my life is! Were it not for some men amongst the believers who dislike to be left behind me and whom I cannot provide with means of conveyance, I would certainly never remain behind any Sariya’ (army-unit) setting out in Allah’s Cause. By Him in Whose Hands my life is! I would love to be martyred in Al1ah’s Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred.
  • Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4294:
    It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraid through his father that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say: Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of Muhairs and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajirs. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muilims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai’ except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them...

If you imagine that I have cherry picked selections to make Moe look bad, click the link to the Book of Jihad in Malik’s Muwatta and read the section heading. The saying quoted below reveals Moe’s true nature; for this reason it has been Bowdlerized from most of the on line collections.

Bukhari  Ch 61 # 2756: …It is mentioned from Ibn ‘Umar from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, “My provision has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humility have been placed on the one who disobeys my command.

Those are not the sentiments of a man of peace; that is the attitude of a pirate, not a prophet.

  1. Islam was spread by the sword

The footnotes to 2:190 the Hilali & Khan translation are informative.

Al-Jihad (holy fighting) in Allah’s cause (with full force of numbers and weaponry) is given the utmost importance in Islam and is one of its pillars (on which it stands). By Jihad Islam is established, Allah’s word is made superior, (his word being La ilaha illallah which means none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and his Religion (Islam) is propagated. …

If Islam was not propagated militarily then explain the prominent place of conquests in this table of contents of Islamic history.

Hilali & Khan stretched matters a bit with their claim that Jihad is a pillar of Islam; it is not in the recognized list. Note their definition, in the foot note quoted above. Compare it to the definition found in Sharia.

Chapter O-9.0: Jihad

As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad.
“We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad.”
The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b-7) is such Koranic verses as:
1- “Fighting is prescribed for you” (Koran 2:216);
2- “Slay them wherever you find them” (Koran 4:89);
3- “Fight the idolators utterly” (Koran 9:36);
and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:
“I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah”;
and the hadith reported by Muslim,
“To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it.”Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally attended, some twenty-seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. Now it is established, by Islamic law, that Jihad is warfare to establish the religion.  What is the the connection between Islam and violence? To fully comprehend it, you should read the entire Qur’an. Three Surhas, 8, 9 & 48 are particularly significant, but violence runs throughout the book, in 164 verses.

Jihad is mandatory, not optional.

  • 2:216. Jihad (holy fighting in Allah’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.

The penalty for shirking is extreme: eternity in Hell fire.

  • 9:39. If you march not forth, He will punish you with a painful torment and will replace you by another people, and you cannot harm Him at all, and Allah is Able to do all things.

Jihad is the key to salvation.

Is there any violence? Is fighting violence? Do killing & wounding involve violence?

  • 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
  • 47:4. So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah’s Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allah’s Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost,

Did any truth pass the lips of  Ambassador Masood Khan when he spoke to the HRC? I doubt it, he was off to a very dishonest start.

Combating Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims a presentation by Ambassador Hemayet Uddin

The 9/11 incident was surely one of the worst acts of terrorism in history. While
the terrorist act was carried out by the 19 Muslim extremists, regrettably it was attributed
to Muslim community and Islam in general by many in the West including the media. In
the process, it contributed to the proliferation of intolerance against Muslims. A new
word “Islamophobia” was coined. In the West the term depicted a fear of Islam as a
religion that abets terror; while in the Muslim world, the term connoted Western
societies’ deep prejudice against Islam and total disregard for its values and beliefs. In
short, Muslims who true to their faith believe in the values of tolerance, peace and
peaceful co-existence have been subjected to discrimination, prejudice, profiling and
even persecution.

What do the ‘magnificent 19’ have in common with splodydopes in Russia, Spain, Britain, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Israel? They are all Muslim; they read the same Qur’an, Sunnah & Sira.  They are acting in obedience to Allah; emulating Moe.

Islam sanctifies, commands, glorifies and brags about terror as a battle tactic.

  • 3:151 We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve,
  • 8:112.I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.
  • 33:26. And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allah brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.
  • Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
    I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), …
  • Muslims who true to their faith believe in the values of tolerance, peace and
    peaceful co-existence

    • Tolerance: 3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
    • Peace:  9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2).

While the Ambassador paints a word picture of peaceful, tolerant Islam being calumniated and repressed by Kuffar, the reality is exactly the opposite.  Islam’s canon of scripture, tradition & jurisprudence reveals the awful truth.  Do you understand that Islamic law (Sharia) requires that a minimum of one military expedition be launched against Kuffar in every year? No? Why the Hell don’t you?  Are you an ignorant damn fool who absorbs and accepts the malicious malarkey spewed by legions of liars? Being a natural skeptic, I looked into the matter, and I discovered truth, which I am sharing with you.

Al-Shafi’i (God have mercy on him) said: “The least that the imam must do is that he allow no year to pass without having organised a military expedition by himself, or by his raiding parties, according to the Muslims’ interest, so that the jihad will only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse.” He said: “If he did not undertake the sending of enough troops to fight, those who are absent (must) go out, and consider as an obligation that which God (who is praised) said.”

Below is what Al-Ghazali actually wrote about jihad war, and the treatment of the vanquished non-Muslim dhimmi peoples (from the Wagjiz, written in 1101 A.D.): …one must go on jihad (i.e., warlike razzias or raids) at least once a year…one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and/or drown them…If a person of the Ahl al-Kitab [People of The Book – Jews and Christians, typically] is enslaved, his marriage is [automatically] revoked…One may cut down their trees…One must destroy their useless books. Jihadists may take as booty whatever they decide…they may steal as much food as they need…

Let that sink in for a moment. Read and re-read those rulings from Islamic legal scholars until you have memorized the highlighted clauses. Remember those words every time you hear a Muslim spew peace and co-existence.
