Who turned Islam into an instrument of misery, and when?

Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 512:
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaibar when it was still dark and then said, “Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned.” Then the inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet . The Prophet made her manumission as her ‘Mahr’.

No, it was not Abd Al-Wahhab in recent times, it was Islam’s founder in the 7th century. Moe was the one who recited ayat which sanctify & mandate Jihad, genocide & casting terror. Those ayat are Allah’s words, which can not be changed; they are clear commands which must be believed and implemented. Shariah, codified in Reliance of the Traveller, Book O, lists acts which entail apostasy.

-7- to deny any verse of the Koran or anything which by scholarly consensus (def: b7) belongs to it, or to add a verse that does [not] belong to it;

-20- or to deny that Allah intended the Prophet’s message (Allah bless him and give him peace) to be the religion followed by the entire world (dis: w4.3-4) (al-Hadiyya al-`Ala’iyya (y4), 423-24). )

The law defining & prescribing Jihad follows immediately after that list in Chapter 9.  If King Abdullah sincerely seeks to permanently terminate Jihad, genocide & terrorism, then he has severed himself from true Islam and risks his throne and his life to the anger of the Ikhwan Al-Islamiyyah among his zealous subjects.

Throughout history, preoccupation with differences between the followers of religions and cultures has engendered intolerance, causing devastating wars and considerable bloodshed without any sound logical or ideological justification. It is high time for us to learn from the harsh lessons of the past and concur on the ethics and ideals in which we all believe. Matters on which we differ will be decided by our Omniscient Creator on the Day of Judgment. Every tragedy suffered in today’s world is ultimately a result of the abandonment of the paramount principle enunciated by all religions and cultures: The roots of all global crises can be found in human denial of the eternal principle of justice.

• 3:19. Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account.
• Allah states that there is no religion accepted with Him from any person, except Islam. The Religion with Allah is Islam
• Islam is the Religion of Mankind and the Prophet Was Sent to all Mankind
• 3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
• The Only Valid Religion To Allah is Islam
• The Messenger of Allah stated that no two religions should remain in the Arabian Peninsula, and the Jews and Christians should be expelled from it, all praise is due to Allah.  The Good News that Islam shall prevail
• “Two deens shall not co-exist in the Arabian Peninsula.”
• Ideological justification? How about Allah’s commandment & Moe’s sunnah?

The alienation and the sense of loss which affects the lives of many of or young, leading them to drugs and crime, became widespread due to the dissolution of family bonds that Almighty God intended to be firm and strong.

That is one of the standard arguments of Dawa, inviting you to embrace Islam.

Our dialogue, conducted in a constructive manner, should, by the grace of God, revive and reinstate these lofty ideals among peoples and nations. No doubt, God willing, this will constitute a glorious triumph of what is most noble over what is most evil in human beings and will grant mankind hope of a future in which justice, security and a decent life will prevail over injustice, fear and poverty.

What is most noble? Islam! What is most evil? Kuffar!  And the utopian future of plenty? It is prophesied in Moe’s Sunnah.

Bukhari Volume 4, Book 55, Number 657:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it.” Abu Huraira added “If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): — ‘And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them.” (4.159) (See Fateh Al Bari, Page 302 Vol 7)

I can assure them and all the states of the world, their peoples, their leaders and their organizations, that our concern for the dialogue stems from our Islamic faith and values and our compassion for the human condition in order to overcome its miseries.

We will continue what we have commenced, extending our hand to all those advocating peace, justice and tolerance.

In conclusion, I would like to remind all of you, and myself, of the words of the Holy Qur’an:
“O Mankind! We have created you from a single pair of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that ye may know each other. Very, the most honored of you in the sight of God is he who is the most righteous of you.“[49:13]

Ain’t that sweet, we’re all created by allah so we should get to know each other and be brothers. Lets delve a little deeper.

(O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another.) so that they get to know each other by their nation or tribe. Mujahid said that Allah’s statement, (that you may know one another.) refers to one’s saying, “So-and-so the son of so-and-so, from the tribe of so-and-so.” Sufyan Ath-Thawri said, “The Himyar (who resided in Yemen) dealt with each other according to their provinces, while the Arabs in the Hijaz (Western Arabia) dealt with each other according to their tribes.”[Second Tafsir linked below. ]

Allah was talking about a system of identification; appending tribal names to surnames to tell people apart.

    Allah’s slave left off a significant clause at the end of that ayeh. 

Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2)]. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.

The next two ayat convey important information: the defining test of Iman & Tawqa, which is highlighted for clarity.

49:14.  The bedouins say: “We believe.” Say: “You believe not but you only say, ‘We have surrendered (in Islam),’ for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger (), He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

49:15. Only those are the believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allah. Those! They are the truthful.

Participation in Jihad is the test of righteousness; its how you prove your Taqwa. Surah Al-Hujuraat is only 18 ayat, in it, Moe is warning against internecine disputes & divisions. Use the link in the quote  to read it all. The following topics in Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir relate to the cited ayat.

    If, as I assume, he extends the forked tongue of al-Taqeyya & hand of trickery, our ecclesiastical & temporal leaders would do well to react with caution, count their fingers and listen between the lines.

Terrorism and criminality are the enemies of every religion and every civilization. They would not have appeared except for the absence of the principle of tolerance.

• Terrorism is a mandatory sacrament of Islam, practiced & bragged about by Moe. 
• 3:151. We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allah, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers).
• 8:12. (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, “Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.“
• 33:26.  And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allah brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.
• Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
   Narrated Abu Huraira:

      Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy),[...]

The alienation and the sense of loss which affects the lives of many of or young, leading them to drugs and crime, became widespread due to the dissolution of family bonds that Almighty God intended to be firm and strong.

That is one of the standard arguments of Dawa, inviting you to embrace Islam.

Our dialogue, conducted in a constructive manner, should, by the grace of God, revive and reinstate these lofty ideals among peoples and nations. No doubt, God willing, this will constitute a glorious triumph of what is most noble over what is most evil in human beings and will grant mankind hope of a future in which justice, security and a decent life will prevail over injustice, fear and poverty.

What is most noble? Islam! What is most evil? Kuffar!  And the utopian future of plenty? It is prophesied in Moe’s Sunnah.

Bukhari Volume 4, Book 55, Number 657:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it.” Abu Huraira added “If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): — ‘And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them.” (4.159) (See Fateh Al Bari, Page 302 Vol 7)

I can assure them and all the states of the world, their peoples, their leaders and their organizations, that our concern for the dialogue stems from our Islamic faith and values and our compassion for the human condition in order to overcome its miseries.

We will continue what we have commenced, extending our hand to all those advocating peace, justice and tolerance.

In conclusion, I would like to remind all of you, and myself, of the words of the Holy Qur’an:
“O Mankind! We have created you from a single pair of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that ye may know each other. Very, the most honored of you in the sight of God is he who is the most righteous of you.“[49:13]

Ain’t that sweet, we’re all created by allah so we should get to know each other and be brothers. Lets delve a little deeper.

(O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another.) so that they get to know each other by their nation or tribe. Mujahid said that Allah’s statement, (that you may know one another.) refers to one’s saying, “So-and-so the son of so-and-so, from the tribe of so-and-so.” Sufyan Ath-Thawri said, “The Himyar (who resided in Yemen) dealt with each other according to their provinces, while the Arabs in the Hijaz (Western Arabia) dealt with each other according to their tribes.”[Second Tafsir linked below. ]

Allah was talking about a system of identification; appending tribal names to surnames to tell people apart.

    Allah’s slave left off a significant clause at the end of that ayeh. 

Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2)]. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.

The next two ayat convey important information: the defining test of Iman & Tawqa, which is highlighted for clarity.

49:14.  The bedouins say: “We believe.” Say: “You believe not but you only say, ‘We have surrendered (in Islam),’ for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger (), He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

49:15. Only those are the believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allah. Those! They are the truthful.

Participation in Jihad is the test of righteousness; its how you prove your Taqwa. Surah Al-Hujuraat is only 18 ayat, in it, Moe is warning against internecine disputes & divisions. Use the link in the quote  to read it all. The following topics in Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir relate to the cited ayat.

    There is ambiguity in the King’s address; perhaps because he is navigating a treacherous strait between Kuffar & Ikhwan. If he has embarked on a course of  reform, it will be adjuged bida and be rejected by many.  By so doing, he risks throne & head.

    If, as I assume, he extends the forked tongue of al-Taqeyya & hand of trickery, our ecclesiastical & temporal leaders would do well to react with caution, count their fingers and listen between the lines.

Monolog: Prince Saud Al Faisal Spills the Beans
The Saudi Gazette reveals what Saud Al-Faisal said at a press conference.

“The Kingdom is the cradle of Islam and a country where millions of Muslims come every year to perform the Haj and the King is the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Thus the Kingdom is responsible for (reflecting) the desire and will of the Ummah worldwide,”

Thus we are informed that any decision about practicing religious tolerance in the Hijaz is to be made by the Ummah at large.

“Discussing religions runs counter to the spirit of both the Madrid and New York conferences. We have agreed on not touching on beliefs and instead focusing on the common values so that people can be brought together with open minds and hearts to achieve more progress.”

Refresh my memory, Prince. Wasn’t it about fostering religious dialogue? It can’t be much of a dialogue, and should not require two days if all we can discuss is monotheism.

“But from the outset, we should stress the importance of changing the self so that you become different from what you are now. Otherwise nothing would be achieved.” [Emphasis added.]

The beans are spilt. The dialogue is about changing us, not changing Islam. Our role is to submit and obey, theirs is to rule and dominate.

“All religions call for enhancing peace amongst peoples of the world, for reinforcing common values and for refraining from rekindling conflict and pushing the world toward conflict and confrontation.”

Square that with these topics from Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir. Read the verses & sayings which confirm their obvious meaning. Islam’s idea of peace is the condition after the entire world is conquered.

• The Command for Jihad against the Disbelievers and the Hypocrites

A Google Alert drew my attention to an Arab News article about an interfaith dialogue conference to be held at the U.N. November 12, 2008. The Conference is to be attended by about thirty world leaders. Leaders of 192 member states were invited.  The objective is strengthening peace through interfaith dialogue.  This conference results from a recommendation of the World Dialogue Conference held in July.

The Arab News article quotes King Abdullah as saying:

“It is regrettable that some of our sons have been tempted by Satan or the brothers of Satan,” [...] “Nothing can purify (Islam’s reputation) except for the extension of Muslims’ hands to their brothers in other religions.”

The article indicates that those remarks relate to Muslim terrorists.  He appears to imply that terrorism is a satanic, not a divine function and that it has sullied Islam’s reputation.

Our best clues about what to anticipate from the conference to be held Nov. 12 in New York come from King Abdullah’s opening remarks at the Madrid Conference and its official statement. The Saudi-US Relations Information Service provided the details.

From the land of Revelation and land of Message, I welcome you with warmest greetings, beseeching Almighty Allah to give us the unrelenting determination, a power not afflicted by weakness and makes us from those whom Allah said about them:

“Nor can Goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better: then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate!”
(41: 34)

King Abdullah is praying for determination & power to persuade us to revert to Islam by proving that it is better than Christianity. Surah 41 was number 61  in order of revelation; Surah 8 is number 87 and Surah 9 is 113. Since the more violent surahs were revealed later, they abrogate their more tolerant predecessors. Persuasion was replaced by conquest [8:39,  9:29].

Dear Brothers:

You gathered today to say to the world around us, with confidence which Allah bestowed upon us. We are the voice of justice and human moral values, and we are the voice of rational and just coexistence and dialogue, the voice of wisdom and admonition, and argumentation with the best way possible. As Allah says:

“Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious.” (16:125)

God willing we will do so.

In the next verse, Allah offers an alternative to dialogue.

16:126. And if you punish (your enemy, O you believers in the Oneness of Allâh), then punish them with the like of that with which you were afflicted. But if you endure patiently, verily, it is better for As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.) .

Dear Brothers:

How great this nation is, how difficult the challenges it faces in a time where its enemies – extremists from its sons and others – join forces to change its fair approach. They are gathered with blatant aggressiveness to target the tolerance, justice and noble purposes of Islam.

King Abdullah describes Islam as tolerant, just and noble of purpose.  Is Islam tolerant?

• 3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
• 98:6. Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad  from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.
• 9:30. And the Jews say: ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allâh, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allâh. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allâh’s Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!

Is Islam’s purpose noble or is it mercenary?

• 8:1. They ask you (O Muhammad) about the spoils of war. Say: “The spoils are for Allâh and the Messenger.” So fear Allâh and adjust all matters of difference among you, and obey Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad), if you are believers.
• 8:41. And know that whatever of war-booty that you may gain, verily one-fifth (1/5th) of it is assigned to Allâh, and to the Messenger, and to the near relatives [of the Messenger (Muhammad)], (and also) the orphans, Al-Masâkin (the poor) and the wayfarer, if you have believed in Allâh and in that which We sent down to Our slave (Muhammad) on the Day of criterion (between right and wrong), the Day when the two forces met (the battle of Badr) – And Allâh is Able to do all things.
• 8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
• 48:20. Allâh has promised you abundant spoils that you will capture, and He has hastened for you this, and He has restrained the hands of men from you, that it may be a sign for the believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path.
• Muslim Book 019, Number 4327:

The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, This is because Allah saw our weakness and humility and made them lawful for us.

For this reason, this invitation from your brother is to counter challenges of rigidity, ignorance, narrow-mindedness, and to make the world accommodate the concepts and the prospects of the kind message of Islam without enmity and antagonism.

Take a close look at that statement. Did you miss this? “to make the world accommodate the concepts and the prospects of the kind message of Islam without enmity and antagonism“.  In plain language, he means to deceive, disarm and confuse us as Islam conquers the entire world.

Dear Brothers:

Islam will remain fortified by the will of Allah Almighty and then with the conscience of Muslim scholars, thinkers and his followers.

Islam’s greatness founded the concepts of dialogue, and sets its milestones which are reflected in Allah saying: “Wert thou severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about thee.” (3: 159)

Caution: deception in progress! Allah’s slave has quoted his Master out of context.

3:156. O you who believe! Be not like those who disbelieve (hypocrites) and who say to their brethren when they travel through the earth or go out to fight: “If they had stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed,” so that Allâh may make it a cause of regret in their hearts. It is Allâh that gives life and causes death. And Allâh is All­Seer of what you do.

3:157. And if you are killed or die in the Way of Allâh, forgiveness and mercy from Allâh are far better than all that they amass (of worldly wealths, etc.).

3:158. And whether you die, or are killed, verily, unto Allâh you shall be gathered.

3:159. And by the Mercy of Allâh, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh­hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allâh’s) Forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allâh, certainly, Allâh loves those who put their trust (in Him).

3:160. If Allâh helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allâh (Alone) let believers put their trust.

Muhammad dealt gently with hypocrites who shirked Jihad, not with disbelievers.

Our hearts are full – praise to Allah – by faith, tolerance and love, which Allah, the Creator, ordered us to obtain.

Yes, dear brother, the way to the others is through shared values advocated by the divine messages, which were revealed by Allah the Almighty for the benefit of humanity to preserve their dignity and promote the ethical values and dealings which certainly are not in conformity with deception.

Ah, yes, how Islam preserves our dignity.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”

Our lives are not sacred to Muslims until we become Muslim. So much for dignity.

These values reject treason, alienate crime, combat terrorism, and despise lying. They lay the bases for good morals, honesty, truthfulness, justice, and enhance the concepts of family values and its cohesion and ethics, which are slowly diminishing at present and disintegrating ties, and where human beings are distancing themselves from their Lord and the teachings of their religion.

Islam’s values combat terrorism? Lets see how they combat it.

Dear Brothers:

From the vicinity of the Holy Mosque of Makkah, we begin with the will of Allah. From there, we will move in our dialogue with the others in confidence derived from our faith in Allah and then from knowledge sought from our tolerant religion. We will argue in ways that are best, what we agree upon we accept it in our hearts and what we disagree about we refer to the Sublime saying: “To you be your way, and to me mine.” (109:6)

Surah 109 was number 18 in order of sequence of revelation; it is abrogated by Surah 9, which was revealed after Muhammad had amassed an army and was prepared to launch his conquests.

Abdullah Al-Turki, secretary-general of the MWL, spoke about the meeting at a press conference.

“The problem is created by the behavior and practices of their followers,”

It can’t be possible that terrorism flows from Allah’s word: 3:151, 8:12 & 33:26 cited above. It can’t be possible that Jihad conquests flow from Allah’s clear commands to fight, of course not; must be Satan’s temptations. Or is it poverty, ignorance & repression?

• 8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.
• 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Visit the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Qur’an and read the footnote to 2:190. What are the benefits of Jihad? What are the consequences when it is abandoned? While you are there, read all of Surahs 8 & 9. Muhammad, the founder of Islam, was rabble rousing & warmongering like Adolf Hitler.

At the conclusion of the Madrid Conference,  a statement was issued, setting fourth a list of ten principles. A few of them warrant critical examination.

1. Unity of humankind in the original creation and the equality among human beings irrespective of their colors, ethnic backgrounds and cultures.

The problem with that is that Islamic tradition holds Arabs superior to all other people and the Quraysh are be best of tribes.

4. The heavenly messages aim at realizing the obedience of people to their Creator and achieving happiness, justice, security and peace for humankind. These messages seek to enhance ways of understanding and cooperation among people despite differences in their origins, colors and languages. They also call for spreading virtue through wisdom and politeness, and rejecting extremism and terrorism.

Yes, Allah and his Messenger rejected extremism & terrorism, of course they did. So where do Surahs
Al-Anfal & Al-Taubah  come from?

5. Respecting heavenly religions, preserving their high status, condemning any insult to their symbols, and combating the exploitation of religion in the instigation of racial discrimination.

This is an obvious reference to the pending General Assembly resolution condemning “defamation of religions”. It is an overt attempt to impose Islam’s blasphemy law upon Kuffar.

6. Observing peace, honoring agreements and respecting unique traditions of peoples and their right to security, freedom and self-determination are the basis for building good relations among all people. Achieving this is a major objective of all religions and prominent cultures.

As Muhammad honored the treaty of Hudaibiya, breaking it after three years? As our rights to security and freedom are honored by 8:39 & 9:29?

7. The significance of religion and moral values and the need for humans to revert to their Creator in their fight against crime, corruption, drugs, and terrorism, and in preserving the institution of the family and protecting societies from deviant behaviors.

“Revert to their Creator” is an obvious reference to embracing Islam:  we are being told that only reverting to Islam will solve the listed problems.  There is no dialogue, the conversation is one way, as is that of the Ulema’s missive to Pope Benedict.  The bottom line: “Embrace Islam and you will be safe.” That is what Muhammad said in his extortion letters dispatched to various tribes & kingdoms before he invaded them.

The conference noted that terrorism is one of the most serious obstacles confronting dialogue and coexistence.

Terrorism is a universal phenomenon that requires unified international efforts to combat it in a serious, responsible and just way. This demands an international agreement on defining terrorism, addressing its root causes and achieving justice and stability in the world.

How is terrorism to be defined?  It must certainly include any and all attacks against Muslims, but it can not include attacks upon Jews. Why is that?  Because terrorism is an attack on innocent civilians and rebels against Allah are not innocent.  Attacks upon Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, Sabeans, Pagans & Atheists are commanded by Allah. Those commands are reflected in Sharia. Turn to Reliance of the Traveler and read Book O, Chapter 9.

Based on the above, the conference has adopted the following recommendations:

• To reject theories that call for the clash of civilizations and cultures and to warn of the danger of campaigns seeking to deepen conflicts and destabilize peace and security.

You can not reject Surah Al-Taubah without committing apostasy, incurring the death penalty and subjecting Islam to Allah’s curse.

• To enhance common human values, to cooperate in their dissemination within societies and to solve the problems that hinder their achievement.

Code words for promoting the spread of Islam.

• To disseminate the culture of tolerance and understanding through dialogue so as to be a framework for international relations through holding conferences and symposia, as well as developing relevant cultural, educational and media programs.

“Culture of tolerance and understanding” means Islam. Dawa by institutional propaganda.

• To agree on international guidelines for dialogue among the followers of religions and cultures through which moral values and ethical principles, which are common denominators among such followers, so as to strengthen stability and achieve prosperity for all humans.

International guidlines are needed for dialogue?  Are there questions we must not ask; statements we must not make?

• To work on urging governmental and non-governmental organizations to issue a document that stipulates respect for religions and their symbols, the prohibition of their denigration and the repudiation of those who commit such acts.

What’s wrong with Islam?

Islam is aggressively violent, by design; irreparably. I quote Islamic law.[Emphasis added for clarity.]

As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year.[Reliance of the Traveller, Book O9.1]

Jihad is something  Muslims must do against non-Muslims every year. Exactly what is it?

How does that apply to the United States of America?

Between  1779 and 1815, the Barbary pirates were attacking America’s merchant marine, seizing boats, enslaving their crews and stealing cargo. They demanded payment of tribute for safe passage.

In 1786 Jefferson and John Adams went to negotiate with Tripoli’s envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman or (Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). They asked him by what right he extorted money and took slaves. Jefferson reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress:

The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet (Mohammed), that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman (or Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to heaven. [3]

Allah said:

8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]….

9:29.Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Muhammad said:

“I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.“ Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387

Caliph Umar’s general told the Persians:

…Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:– “Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master.”… Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 53, Number 386

Compare the answer of Sidi Haji Abdrahaman to Bukhari4.53.386:

Compare Reliance of the Traveller, Book O, Chapter 9, paragraph 8 to Rodwell’s translation of 9:29:

Objections:

• Mis-translation.
  • I do not know a word of Arabic; can’t read a single character of it. Hilali & Khan translated the Qur’an quotes cited above with the exception of the one by Rodwell. I linked to nine parallel translations for easy comparison

  • How did Muhammad interpret those ayat?
    • What did he do?
    • Why does each of the four major hadith collections have a ‘book’ of Jihad?
  • Who interprets the Qur’an correctly, you or Ibn Kathir, who spent his life studying it, its interpretation & application?
    • The Order to fight to eradicate Shirk and Kufr
    • The Order to fight People of the Scriptures until They give the Jizyah
  • Why does Sharia confirm the obvious primal facile meaning of the Qur’an, citing 9:29 as the basis for annual attacks upon disbelievers?
  • Why do other Islamic legal scholars confirm the command?
    • Al-Shafi’i (God have mercy on him) said: “The least that the imam must do is that he allow no year to pass without having organised a military expedition by himself, or by his raiding parties, according to the Muslims’ interest, so that the jihad will only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse.” He said: “If he did not undertake the sending of enough troops to fight, those who are absent (must) go out, and consider as an obligation that which God (who is praised) said.”

    • Below is what Al-Ghazali actually wrote about jihad war, and the treatment of the vanquished non-Muslim dhimmi peoples (from the Wagjiz, written in 1101 A.D.): …one must go on jihad (i.e., warlike razzias or raids) at least once a year…one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and/or drown them…If a person of the Ahl al-Kitab [People of The Book - Jews and Christians, typically] is enslaved, his marriage is [automatically] revoked…One may cut down their trees…One must destroy their useless books. Jihadists may take as booty whatever they decide…they may steal as much food as they need…

What’s Wrong With Muslims?

If they believe and are faithful, they obey Allah’s commands by joining the Jihad, striving hard with their lives and their wealth. If not called to fight, they support Jihad with Zakat. How did the Holy Land Foundation raise $13M for Hamas?

8:2.  The believers are only those who, when Allâh is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur’ân) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone);

61:10. O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.

61:11.  That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

61:12. (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of ‘Adn ­ Eternity ['Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.

61:13. And also (He will give you) another (blessing) which you love, help from Allâh (against your enemies) and a near victory. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad ) to the believers.

What is the relationship between Allah & Muslims?

9:111. Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success .

That’s what Muslims do; they kill.  That’s what’s wrong with Muslims: they worship and obey a bloodthirsty demon who commands them to subjugate us.

Objections:

• I have Muslim friends; nice people, well behaved.
  • Muslims are explicitly commanded, in several ayat, not to befriend Kuffar. I will cite one of them.
  • 60:1. O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism, this Qur’ân, and Muhammad ), and have driven out the Messenger (Muhammad ) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allâh your Lord! If you have come forth to strive in My Cause and to seek My Good Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and polytheists, etc., as your friends). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray, (away) from the Straight Path .
• Most Muslims don’t engage in Jihad.
  • Yet. They haven’t been called by their Imam or Mullah. The Ummah is large and the battlefronts are relatively small. Once a sufficient number have answered the call, the rest are relieved unless an emergency occurs.

• Jihad is an anachronism, only applicable to Moe’s lifetime.
  • Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526

    Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

    The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.

    I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

Take a cold, clear eyed second look at Abu Dawud 23.3455.

Four, Jihad means “striving” or “struggle”. The greater Jihad is an individual’s inner quest for spiritual cleaning and reform. The lesser Jihad is the right of individual or collective self-defense in the face of an armed attack, not dissimilar to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.
  • 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
• Clearly, those are imperatives to attack. That imperative is confirmed by the following ayeh and hadith,

O-9.8: The Objectives of Jihad
The caliph (o-25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o-11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,
“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),
the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace). After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),
“I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,”
this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according to the Evangel, but as a follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ).

Why did a Muslim with diplomatic rank, acting as a spokesman for 57 Islamic nations, utter and publish a God damned lie which could be so easily found out & confirmed?  Does he think we ain’t listening, don’t care or won’t fact check him?  Obviously, his lies spew from the font of Islamic supremacism & triumphalism.

Tolerance is one of the pillars on which human civilization has been built upon. Every religion on earth preaches it; great statesmen and philosophers have been inspired by it; mass political movements have struggled to uphold it and present day democratic governments cannot function properly without it. The basic tenets of tolerance are compassion, understanding and appreciation of the right of others to differ in beliefs and faiths, cultural norms and values. These are the foundations of a civilized society and crucial for peaceful coexistence.

The Ambassador would have us believe that Islam is tolerant, the innocent victim of intolerance. Allah’s book puts the lie to that implication.

3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

3:86. How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and after they bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad ) is true and after clear proofs had come unto them? And Allah guides not the people who are Zalimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers).

3:87. They are those whose recompense is that on them (rests) the Curse of Allah, of the angels, and of all mankind.

No religion other than Islam will be tolerated. Allah and the Muslims curse everyone who rejects Islam in favor of any alternative. Return to the initial quote and note the highlighted phrase; the implication is that Islam recognizes and values that virtue. What does Allah’s book say about peaceful coexistence with Jews & Christians?

9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. Any Muslim will tell you that those ayat are taken out of context, the meaning obvious on their face is mis-interpretation.
Don’t believe them; believe Ibn Kathir, who spent his whole life studying the Qur’an, hadith & Sharia.

  Once, while I was sitting beside Zaid bin Al-Arqam, he was asked, “How many Ghazwat did the Prophet undertake?” Zaid replied, “Nineteen.” They said, “In how many Ghazwat did you join him?” He replied, “Seventeen.” I asked, “Which of these was the first?” He replied, “Al-’Ashira or Al-’Ashiru.”

Jihad is mandatory, not optional. Jihad is included in two imperatives. Moe was ordered to fight. Muslims will be cursed if they abandon it in favor of productive pursuits.
